Skylark,

A SaaS platform for media products

Branding  + Web

As Creative Director, I was responsible for Skylark’s brand, marketing, and product design streams — crafting a cohesive creative vision and ensuring consistency and quality across every design touchpoint.

An approachable, technology focussed identity

Skylark began as Ostmodern’s internal startup — a scheduling and content management tool with an API designed to support the agency’s direct-to-consumer video on demand services.

For this second brand refresh, the primary goal was to secure a £2 million funding round to expand the team and broaden the product offering. I was responsible for designing and launching a new identity that authentically reflected Skylark’s mission and positioned it as a standalone tech startup, independent from agency operations.

The refreshed look balances user-friendly technology with modern reliability, creating a brand flexible enough to extend seamlessly from the master brand to its subbranded products.

Lo-code. High impact. Giving marketing and product a fully editorially controlled site.

Another lo-code project in action — working closely with Skylark’s founders and product leaders to develop a proposition site that clearly communicates Skylark’s unique value. The primary goals were to educate prospective clients on the services offered, highlight the benefits, and demonstrate how Skylark takes a fresh approach compared to traditional video management tools.

I led the end-to-end design of the experience, integrating the brand identity developed earlier and bringing it to life through Webflow. This gave key company editors an easy-to-use platform to update and evolve the site regularly, keeping the content current as Skylark grows.

A flexible demo built to showcase Skylark’s power & versatility

As Skylark’s product evolved, it became clear that demonstrating its adaptability as a scheduling tool, along with its headless capabilities, was essential. To achieve this, we designed and developed several front-end themed demos that were fully configurable — simplified versions of larger-scale video products tailored for different sectors, client tiers, and platforms.

I led the creation of a multi-platform pattern library featuring various fictional brands. The goal was to deliver solutions that felt tangible and authentic, closely resembling a real product launch.
